Mike Spangenberg is the CEO and co-founder of State Forty Eight, a prominent Arizona-based apparel brand known for its high-quality, stylish clothing that embodies the spirit and pride of Arizona. Founded in 2013 alongside childhood friends Stephen and Nicholas Polando, the brand has become a symbol of local pride and community engagement. ​

A native of Chandler, Arizona, Spangenberg's entrepreneurial journey began with a passion for clothing, sports, and his home state. Before dedicating himself full-time to State Forty Eight, he studied hospitality at Scottsdale Community College and worked in the hotel industry, eventually rising to the position of general manager. His dedication to hard work and continuous learning has been instrumental in his success. ​

Under Spangenberg's leadership, State Forty Eight has collaborated with various organizations, including partnerships with local sports teams and initiatives like the Phoenix Children's Hospital collaboration aimed at raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer. ​
